Svečano otvaranje splitske gradske manifestacije i turističkog spektakla Dani Dioklecijana održati će se na carskom trgu Peristilu, u petak 2. rujna 2016. godine s početkom u 21:00 sat.
Prije službenog otvaranja manifestacije tradicionalno će se organizirati svečana povorka Dioklecijanove legije, cara Dioklecijana i carice Priske u rimskim zaprežnim kolima, a polazak je predviđen na Rivi, ispred ulaza u podrume Dioklecijanove palače u 19:15 sati.
U ulozi cara Dioklecijana je poznati glumac Robert Kurbaša, a u ulozi carice Priske ove je godine jedinstvena Severina.
